Accessibility
At “https://bio.org.il/“, we are committed and working to promote accessibility to enable people with disabilities and special needs to use and enjoy the range of services we offer to all our customers.
About a quarter of the population in Israel faces internet accessibility difficulties: visually impaired, hearing impaired, people with motor disabilities, seniors, and more.
In order to provide optimal, professional, and accessible service to everyone, we have made the necessary adjustments to our website and implemented accessibility rules as much as possible in accordance with the principles of the Israeli Accessibility Standard, Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013 (Section C: Internet Services). The site is adapted to accessibility requirements standard 5568 at AA level according to WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
The site’s accessibility is adapted to leading browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Explorer 9 and above.
We have invested significant resources to ensure that our site is easier to use and more accessible to people with disabilities, based on the strong belief that everyone has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
We provide you with an advanced accessibility component by UserWay Web Accessibility, operated by a dedicated accessibility server. The software allows the site to improve its compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
You can activate the UserWay accessibility menu by clicking on the accessibility menu icon that appears in the corner of the page.
The accessibility menu and technology implemented on the site allow many options such as: adapting the site for screen reader users, keyboard navigation, increasing fonts, stopping flashes, contrast, highlighting links, changing fonts, and many more options. The accessibility plugin supports screen reader software: JAWS, NVDA, and more.
We continue our efforts to improve the site’s accessibility as part of our commitment to enable its use for the entire population, including people with disabilities and special needs. It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all pages on the site accessible, you may encounter parts that have not yet been made accessible.
If you found and/or encountered difficulties browsing the site regarding accessibility or in general, we would be happy to receive inquiries for information and/or suggestions for improvement and/or an email reporting the problem at: michal@rosenm.co.il or by phone: 972544683066
In order for us to address the problem in the best way possible, we strongly recommend including as many details as possible:
- Description of the problem
- What action did you try to perform?
- Which page were you browsing?
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Type of assistive technology (if used)
The most important thing for us is to ensure that every person can browse the site.
